About Prince William Dance Academy
For more than 23 years, Prince William Dance Academy has been at the center of family life in Nokesville and the surrounding communities. What started as a small hometown studio has grown into a place where children take their first twirls, explore new passions, and form friendships that light up their childhood.
At PWDA, we welcome dancers ages 3 through teen — and even adults rediscovering their love for movement. From ballet and tap to hip hop, jazz, acro, and more, our programs are designed to grow with your child while keeping joy and encouragement at the heart of every class.
As a family-owned studio, we believe in creating more than just lessons. We create memories. Parents find peace of mind knowing their children are supported and cared for, while dancers feel the magic of walking into a space that feels like home. Frequently Asked Questions
My child has never danced before — is that okay?
Absolutely! Many of our dancers start with no prior experience. Our classes are designed to welcome beginners and help them feel comfortable from day one.
Are your classes for boys, too?
Yes! We welcome every child who wants to dance. Many of our programs include boys who thrive in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and acro.
What if classes are already full?
We encourage you to enroll early — classes fill quickly each fall. If a class is full, we’ll place you on a waitlist and notify you the moment a spot opens.
Where are you located?
Prince William Dance Academy is located at 12926 Fitzwater Dr, Nokesville, VA 20181. Plenty of parking is available on Fitzwater Dr!
How long are the classes?
Most beginner classes for ages 3–5 are 30–45 minutes. Older age groups run 60 minutes.
Is there a recital or performance?
Yes! At the end of the season, students have the option to perform on stage. It’s a highlight for families — but never mandatory.
